A patio area linking three levels of the garden with steps and paths.
The patio has been cut into a very large sloping border and dry stone walling
has been used to retain the banks. We have used computer generated pictures
initially before deciding on the final layout.

The lakeside walls have been raised in height with dry stone walling
and the existing overgrown banks and islands cleared .The soil levelled and the
area turfed to allow easy access to the lakeside , a view of the lake is now
possible from the house now that the overgrown shrubs have been cleared .The
lake had to be dredged, and to avoid excessive tipping charges it was decided to
build up the banks with the silt which would also prevent flooding during the
winter.
Work during the winter 02/03 & turfed late spring.
