Design No 3 The area is
enhanced simply by changing an uninteresting square lawn into a circular one ,
the lawn becomes a feature in itself and additional planting areas are
automatically created .

Design No 4 A large open wind swept garden with a
parking area in front of the house needed to have smaller rooms created with
nooks and crannies and hidden pathways .It was decided to plant a laurel hedge
nearly all the way around the parking area and leave three small gaps in the
hedge and one large gap leading to the house. This hedge screens the
parked cars , acts as a windbreak and is a central focus point for fanning out
and exploring the rest of the hidden garden sections behind it
